Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who provides the service

Cast Academy is a platform operated by Cast Films ("we"). By using Cast Academy you enter into a contract with Cast Films. If you act on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it; if you act as an individual, you represent that you are of legal age.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing annual access, or continuing to use the platform, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The product

Cast Academy offers digital online-reading guides on how to produce videos with artificial intelligence, including texts, steps, and prompts. Annual access costs 17 USD and unlocks all published guides plus those we publish during the 12-month term. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for your personal use.

4. Your account

You must provide truthful information and keep it up to date, and you are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity from your account.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or spam purposes.
  • Do not infringe third-party or our intellectual property rights.
  • Do not interfere with service security: malware, probing, bypassing technical limits, scraping, or bulk extraction of content.
  • Do not share, resell, or redistribute the guides, or reverse-engineer the platform.

6. AI-generated content

  • You are responsible for the prompts you use, how you use the results, verifying their accuracy, and having rights over the material you input into third-party tools.
  • It is prohibited to create illegal content, deceptive deepfakes, impersonation of people, hate speech, sexual material involving minors, malware, or attempts to circumvent model protections.
  • AI system results may be inaccurate and do not replace professional or legal advice; review them before publishing.
  • If you believe any content infringes your rights, write to us and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeated violations lead to account cancellation.
  • We may moderate, filter, or remove content and suspend accounts when necessary to comply with these terms or the law.

7. Intellectual property

Cast Films retains ownership of the platform, the guides, the software, the documentation, and the brand. No property right other than the right of use described above is transferred to you.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Payments and subscription

Our order process is managed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all customer service inquiries and manages returns and refunds.

Payment, billing, tax, renewal, and cancellation conditions are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Access renews every 12 months unless you cancel; if you cancel, you retain access until the end of the paid period. See also our refund policy.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access in case of material breach of these terms, non-payment, security risk or fraud, or serious or repeated violations of our policies. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases; you may request a copy of your account data for 30 days.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it, and we exclude indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, data, or reputation. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where law does not permit it.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, where Cast Films is based, and disputes shall be submitted to its competent courts. We may update these terms; we will post the current version on this page. You may not assign this contract without our consent; we may assign it in case of merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
